DME Interiors was founded in 2006 by Dani McCarty- Eigenmann.

Originally from North America, Dani has been living in the UK for almost a decade, and is currently in Nottingham. Her background is in design, having studied Clothing, Textiles & Design at the University of Western Ontario.

After graduating, she set up a business making window treatments as well as wedding and bridesmaid dresses. Through all this, though, her main interest has been the home, and Interior Design.

This interest in houses and design led Dani into property development. After some success in this area, she wanted to expand her knowledge of Home Staging and Interior Design and completed a diploma course in Interior Design.

In 2006 Dani was a contestant on the second series of Ann Maurice’s new show, Interior Rivalry, securing a place out of thousands of applicants. The show is due to be aired this spring on Channel 5.
